The Family History of Texas Motorcars

Tom Spagnola Sr. started Tom Spagnola, Inc. in the mid 1950s. He quickly became known for his community involvement and his unique approach to selling cars. Tragically, he died on vacation in the MGM Grand fire in 1980.

Tom Spagnola Jr. was born in 1960, and knew by an early age what he wanted in life. He had his own car dealership by the age of 16, and later married his childhood sweetheart, Denise. As a second generation car man, Tom took what his father taught him about being a man of his word and built a solid foundation in his business, Texas Motorcars. Tom has a passion for hot rod cars, guitars, live music, and offshore boating.

Brian Spagnola, the oldest of Tommy’s 4 children, is our General Manager. Brian has worked for Texas Motorcars (and his father) since the summer of 1994. Brian had the foresight to get Texas Motorcars online early, so Texas Motorcars was able to establish themselves on the Internet before most car dealers even had websites.

Savannah, the second oldest child, is the assistant office manager for the dealership. Austin, kiddo number three, is a freshman at Ole Miss, and Devin, the youngest, is a senior at McKinney High School.

In June of 2010, little Tommy Spagnola was born to Brian Spagnola and his wife Sherry. Quite possibly, the 4th generation of Texas Motorcars is coming soon!
